Hi all. I have been perusing Craiglist lately looking for nightstands for our master bedroom. That’s the thing about Craigslist; you can find the most amazing finds, but sometimes it can take FOREVER to find the right piece. So, while looking at my local Craigslist, I found a few steals that would sooo make the perfect look for less. I also included inspiration pictures to help you visualize these treasures in the making.
First up is this this amazing burl wood table. Doesn’t look like much in the photo, but take one look at the inspiration photo and your heart will skip a beat.
If anyone local buys the table, let me tell you, I am officially jealous.
Up next is this this vintage secretary. Since we are doing master bedroom makeover, I have been looking for ways to minimize the clutter caused by my home office (which currently resides in my bedroom!!). I have been eyeing secretaries as there is a desk, but also ample storage.
Here is the inspiration photo. I love how Kristin at the Hunted Interior and Cassie from Hi Sugarplum who collaborated on this space, used such a traditional piece around bold color and modern touches.
A search on Craigslist wouldn’t be complete without a search for faux bamboo goodies.This nightstand would be fun kept red or painted.
Last but not least, is this campaign dresser that to be honest, looks pretty blah! You have to envision it with polished brass hardware and a shiny coat of paint like in the photo below.
